Merry Christmas from the Travelling -foodies
ho ho ho, tis the season to eat and be merry.
Its a big big big day and many decisions:
ham, pork, chicken, lamb,seafood....
table decorations, red and gold? silver and black? red and green? white and silver? gold?
candles? is there enough decorations up in the house...
wine, sprits, punch, eggnog, sparkling water, softdrink...ice?
pavlova, fruit salad, plum pudding?
Berries in season, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and dont forget the cherries!
Hot cold what will the weather be>?
how many courses, buffet style or carve and bring to the table
pre cook, cook on the day?
out for lunch
Christmas breakfast, lunch and or dinner,
in laws for lunch outlaws for dinner
spare batteries for those new toys..
geepers why do we do it year after year?
because its all about great food, wine, company, family, the gift of giving, sharing and laughter, playing cricket after that huge feed, food on the table all day, watching the kids play with their new toys, hoping that the family don't argue about small things and enjoy each others company..
Merry Christmas from the Travelling - foodies may your 2011 be safe, happy and prosperous.
