Upon coming runner up in the finale, Poh was offered to present her own cooking show Poh's kitchen, on ABC1, which is now in production for the third series.
Poh has been able to fulfil a life-long dream of publishing a cookbook in 2010 which stayed in the top 10 Australian bestsellers list for six weeks. She is currently writing her second cookbook.
Poh was a full time artist before her life was turned on its head with food and she continues to paint. Exhibiting prolifically since 2002, she has over 20 exhibition under her belt, 10 of which have been solos. Her work appears in several corporate collections."
This years event will be the eighth year of the popular lunch and is an enjoyable way to relax, mingle with locals, friends and family and visitors from Melbourne and discover the regions finest in food, wine and culture.
The event is part of the regional umbrella of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival held each March and 2012 will be the 20th year of the festival.
Tickets sales have been really strong and you will need to be quick to secure tickets as there will be only 150 this year. ( a birdy told us they are down to the last lot of tickets )

On the buses: Need to organise a bus and or bus ticket from Narbethong, Marysville, Alexandra, Buxton or Taggerty to the lunch and back?
Cost is $24.00 per person return and fee is payable upfront either by cheque,cash or EFT.

This service will be subject to demand and numbers will be limited to 12 - 18 per bus.
Proceeds of the 2011 event will be going to Victorian Flood Relief.
