Industry networking opportunity for Upper Goulburn region

The Upper Goulburn Food Wine and Cultural Group are holding one of its hugely popular networking nights on Monday June 4 in Bonnie Doon in conjunction with the Upper Goulburn Winegrowers Association and Goulburn Strathbogie Olive Association.

Last years successful networking night attracted well over 100 businesses from Murrindindi, Mitchell, Strathbogie and Mansfield shires.

This year the group has secured support from Murrindindi and Mansfield Shire Councils to ensure the night will be a success. Business will be able to chat and seek out networking opportunities with fellow producers and businesses owners on the night in Bonnie Doon.

Mitch MacRae, President of the UGFWCG group comments regarding the industry night being hosted at the Bonnie Doon “ Bonnie Bar from 7 – 9pm.
“Businesses need the opportunity to have a night out and mix with like minded businesses from across our vast district and talk up their business offerings.”  He went on to say “our region has so much to offer as far as local food, produce, wine and culture and indeed our annual events and this night will bring in businesses from far and wide”

Last years effort resulted in many businesses working together and or discovering what is available in our region. We are expecting that attendees will have a heightened awareness of available local product and the outcome will be measured by an increase in sales of the local product across the region with both the networking night and the group’s supplier’s guide.
So if you’re a food and or wine producers or if you’re a chef, a cook and or an owner of a restaurant, pub, cafe and produce store you are invited to come along and network.

Don’t forget to Byo a sample of your product for the brag table and bring those business cards along too!

Mitch urges businesses to resister now to Sam on 5772 3227 or by the groups email on to avoid missing out as numbers are limited.  Taste our Passion and Discover the Magic!
