More about Phil …

Phil Heuzenroeder is the founder and Music Director of Melbourne Mass Gospel Choir. 
He is passionate about community singing and about gospel music in particular.

Phil has been involved with community singing across Victoria for the past 12 years, including directing massed gospel choirs, providing training in community singing leading, arranging and choir management as well as producing and directing events and workshops at the Famous Speigeltent, Federation Square, Vodafone Arena and many festivals. 
Phil led the popular male acapella gospel quartet Naked and also leads the Bipolar Bears rock band for people living with mental illness, runs the Music Network for mental health and runs the funky disability arts organisation Club Wild. 
                  Phil has an ear for beautiful harmony and a soul full of rhythm!
