UGFWCG agm... gastropods are coming...

If you are a small operator passionate in what you do and produce, and a lover of all things food, wine and culture in the Upper Goulburn Region.... the Upper Goulburn Food Wine and Culture Group invites you to its annual general meeting to be held on Wednesday 5th September at the Yarck Hotel in Yarck at 7pm.
Enjoy a dinner and network with like-minded people, participate in the annual general meeting and listen to guest speaker Robyn Schrader from “Yarra Valley Snails” in Buxton.
Farming Snails......but why? And how does a once happy district nurse enter into such an unusual enterprise?
It all started back in 2006 when she saw a TV program on the snail guru of Australia Sonya was at that moment she knew she had to find out more.
Come and hear her story and how Yarra Valley Snails has developed over the past 6 years.

And "No" it won't be a slow technical iteration but rather a fun filled light hearted presentation about these wonderful little gastropods.

The Upper Goulburn reach spans across towns in the Murrindindi, Mansfield, Mitchell and Strathbogie shires and the Group has a few hard working committee members working effortlessly at promoting the region as a destination of choice -  there are great cool climate wines, delicious food such as olives, cheese, bread, capers, fruit, high quality restaurants and fabulous artists.
Over the years, the Group has organised many events to showcase its wonderful produce at long lunches, networking nights, Taste of Victoria, food and wine expos and other events.  The recent networking night held at the Bonnie Bar in June was well attended and supported by many local artisan operators.
We want your support yet again by coming along to the annual general meeting and also volunteering your services as a committee member.
We need more passionate people for the next phase of development.

Diarise the date and time:  5th September at 7 pm at the Yarck Hotel, Yarck.
Do come along and enjoy the evening.
Email Sam Hicks;  with your response....
